Relay For Life in Letterkenny attracted the crowds in the beautiful weather on June Bank Holiday weekend.
The community-based initiative in support of the Irish Cancer Society and their work in patient support and research. Relay is a team fundraising event where teams gather to walk for 24 hours to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society. Please click on the arrows to go through the gallery
The event is based around a walking track and at all times during the event, at least one person from each team is walking on the track. Each team has a cancer awareness theme which they promote at their team base. In addition, as part of their fundraising efforts, the teams can also run fundraising events over the 24 hour event if they wish. The event was staged at ATU Donegal.
