BBC welcomed former Donegal, St Eunan's and Finn Harps footballer Brendan Devenney to their GAA Social Podcast this week and said it was "one of our best ever podcasts."
They describe the show presented by Thomas Niblock and Oisin McConville as: "Brendan Devenney led Donegal for years, but they couldn't get across the line- Armagh and Oisin were the main roadblock. However this podcast digs deeper into the life of Brendan Devenny. Success, failures, helping children in Africa and beyond. It's an education into living life now- and not planning too much for the future.

"There's also tragedy. Brendan lost his father Patrick and sister Margaret within a day in 2022. Two coffins in one house. It's raw, it's funny, it's emotional, there's the rave scene and glow sticks, all after his first match as a commentator."
