WATCH: Meet the non-profit organisation providing a vital service at the Ploughing

Premier Sensory Solutions works with and supports those with additional needs, the elderly and those experiencing anxiety

Premier Sensory Solutions which works with and supports those with additional needs, the elderly and those experiencing anxiety is providing a vital service at this year's National Ploughing Championships in County Laois.

The not-for-profit organisation, which is based in Ballingarry, County Tipperary, has a stand at this year's event having been invited to attend by the National Ploughing Association.

The company aims to provide sensory aids, multi sensory rooms, training and education for children and adults with additional needs and the elderly

It is a Social Enterprise meaning that all funds raised from sales are put directly back into the company in order to keep its prices affordable.

One of its founders, Eilís, explained that its newest service - a mobile sensory hub - was officially launched at the Ploughing earlier this week

"This space is to allow people with sensory differences to access public events that might be overwhelming without having this service here," she explained.
