The band are due to perform at Malahide Castle to over 20,000 people on Friday night

Irish fans of Mumford & Sons were in for a big surprise on Thursday evening as the British folk band popped into a Dublin pub for a rare intimate performance.

The band stopped by O’Donoghue’s Pub on Merrion Row where they performed an acoustic set for thrilled pubgoers, including some of their hit songs like 'Little Lion Man.'
