Clonmany Shamrocks were crowned the winners of the Ulster FA Women’s Interleague on Saturday evening, with Raphoe Town picking up the Shield title.

The Inishowen women faced Bonagee United in the final in Leckview Park and had a good start with Shania McGonigle and Leah McGonagle scoring early on.

Hannah Hopkins got one back for the Letterkenny side before the break, but Clonmany went 5-1 up as Leah McGonagle completed her hat-trick, with goals either side of an Alison McGonagle strike.

Natalie McFadden scored a consolation late on for Bonagee as Clonmany were crowned worthy winners.

In the Shield final, Raphoe Town took on Moville Celtic and came from behind to win in extra-time.

An own goal and a Shannon Leech goal had Moville two ahead at the break, but a brace from Rocha McCullagh brought the game to extra-time.

And it was substitute Denise McCarron who hit the vital goal for the Raphoe women with ten minutes to go.
