Derry City is thrilled to announce the signing of Donegal forward Caitlin Fletcher for their U-19 squad.

Fletcher, who previously played for Bonagee and was only 16-years-old when she became the hero after scoring a dramatic late extra-time winner against Killester Donnycarney to seal a first-ever appearance in the final of the FAI Women’s Amateur Cup in 2023, has already made an impressive start at her new club, scoring a goal in her debut match against Larne on Sunday.

Known for her pace and energy on the field, Fletcher has a sharp eye for goal, a quality that was on full display during her debut performance. The club has high hopes for the Donegal woman, believing she will become a key goalscorer in the years to come.

Her seamless transition to Derry City and her immediate impact underscore why the club was eager to bring her on board with many excited to see what the future holds for this promising young player.
