Shane Lowry into career high top ten in the World Rankings after Truist Championship

Shane Lowry into top ten in World Rankings after second place finish at Truist Championship
Shane Lowry is into the top ten in the World Rankings and into the top ten in the Fed Ex Cup standings after his second place finish at Truist Championship.
It is the first time the Offaly man has cracked the top ten of the Official World Golf Rankings and he is now ranked at number ten in the world.
He has jumped from 17th up to 8th in the PGA Tour's Fed Ex Cup Rankings and has jumped up to second just behind Rory McIlroy in the European Ryder Cup Rankings.
While he will have been disappointed to lose out to Sepp Straka down the stretch at the Truist Championship, Shane has been in fine form this year and will be hoping to continue that as the second Major of the year, the PGA Championship, tees off at the famous Quail Hollow course on Thursday.
