A dry and bright  start to Sunday in Donegal with outbreaks of rain later in the day

A mostly dry start to Sunday, with some bright or sunny spells and just isolated showers in the morning.

Patchy outbreaks of rain will spread across from the east in the afternoon. Highs of 5 to 9 degrees in mostly moderate easterly winds.

Mostly cloudy on Sunday night with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle gradually easing overnight.

Lowest temperatures of 3 to 8 degrees in light easterly or variable breezes. Mist and fog patches too, with a slight chance of frost and ice forming where clear breaks occur.
