After a largely dry start tonight, outbreaks of rain will extend from the southwest, heavy in places with spot flooding possible

A bright start to Tuesday in Donegal with scattered showers here and there

A bright morning with just scattered showers in Donegal.

Cloud will build from the southwest through the late afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees in light to moderate westerly winds, backing southerly winds later.

After a largely dry start tonight, outbreaks of rain will extend from the southwest, heavy in places with spot flooding possible. The rain will mostly clear eastwards by morning. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees with fresh and gusty southeasterly winds, veering southwesterly, strong near coasts.

Largely dry but cloudy tomorrow, Wednesday, with isolated showers and just limited sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees with fresh and gusty southwesterly winds, strong or near gale force near western and northern coasts.
