A frosty start and a dry and sunny day in Donegal with sub-zero temperatures later

A cold and crisp morning with frost slowly clearing to leave a dry and sunny day in Donegal today.

Met Éireann say: "Cool but pleasant with highest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees in light to moderate southeasterly winds.

"Tonight will be cold, dry and clear with light easterly winds. Lowest temperatures of -2 to +1 degrees with widespread frost and a few icy patches.

"Tomorrow morning will be cold and frosty. Another dry day with long spells of sunshine, though cloud will increase across the eastern half of the province. Highest temperatures of 4 to 6 degrees in light to moderate easterly winds."
