Patchy rain and drizzle this morning in Donegal will largely die out to allow some bright or sunny intervals to develop for a time.
Becoming overcast this afternoon with outbreaks of rain beginning to move in from the Atlantic, turning heavy and persistent by evening with the chance of spot flooding. A status yellow rain warning is in place for Donegal from 3pm on today, Monday, to 10am Tuesday. Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees with strengthening southerly winds.
Wet and windy overnight with outbreaks of heavy rain bringing the possibility of localised flooding. Lowest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty southerly winds.
A wet and blustery start on Tuesday with a band of rain pushing gradually eastwards over the province with the continued chance of spot flooding. A clearance to sunny spells and isolated showers will follow from the west during the morning and early afternoon. Maximum temperatures of 18 to 20 degrees in fresh southerly breezes, strong at the coast.
