A dry start for Donegal with rain and drizzle to push in later from the Atlantic

Mainly dry to start with in Donegal today, although somewhat cloudier in the west with a few showers.

Outbreaks of rain and drizzle will push into the west from the Atlantic towards evening. Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees with light to moderate southwest winds, increasing moderate to fresh later and becoming strong near the west coast.

Cloudy or overcast conditions will spread eastwards over the country later along with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, which will turn persistent and perhaps heavy locally in the west and north. A mild night with temperatures no lower that 13 to 16 degrees. Winds will be mostly moderate southwest, fresh to strong near coasts.
