Showers and thunderstorms to clear leaving a dry day with sunny spells in Donegal

Heavy showers and thunderstorms will clear away later this Monday morning, leaving a largely dry day with sunny spells for Donegal.

Highest temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds in the morning, then easing light to moderate.

Early tonight will be dry with clear spells. Cloud will increase overnight, bringing scattered rain or drizzle. Some mist patches will form too. Lowest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees with a moderate to fresh and gusty southerly wind developing.

Tomorrow morning, Tuesday, will be cloudy and breezy with outbreaks of rain or drizzle. The rain will clear eastwards in the early afternoon and will be followed by dry weather and sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees, warmest in the east, with moderate to fresh and gusty southerly winds easing and becoming west to northwest.
