A clearance to sunny spells and isolated showers will move into the west this afternoon, spreading to all areas later this evening as the last of the rain clears into the Irish Sea

A wet start to Saturday in Donegal - although it's expected to clear later on

Cloudy and wet for the early part of today with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, and some hill and coastal fog.

A clearance to sunny spells and isolated showers will move into the west this afternoon, spreading to all areas later this evening as the last of the rain clears into the Irish Sea. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees in a light southerly breeze, becoming northwesterly and increasing moderate behind the rain.

Tonight will be mostly dry with long clear spells, though the odd light shower will occur. A fresher night with lowest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees in a light westerly breeze.

Becoming dull and damp tomorrow with patchy rain and drizzle developing in the morning and continuing through the day. Highest temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly winds.
