Any mist or fog patches will clear this morning to leave a mix of cloud and sunny spells, Met Éireann say.

It will a largely dry day but there is the chance of a few heavy showers developing during the afternoon and evening. Maximum temperatures generally ranging from 17 to 20 degrees but a little cooler at the coast in moderate northerly breezes.

Showers are expected to die out early tonight to leave a largely dry night across the province. However, some areas of mist and fog are likely to form as winds fall light inland. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees.
