Following a showery start, largely dry with clear spells for Donegal tonight

Showers are expected to become more isolated in Donegal later today, Met Éireann has said.

Today will be cool with scattered showers and some sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in a light to moderate northwesterly breeze. It will become largely dry with clear spells tonight, as showers become isolated. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees with a light to moderate west to northwest wind.

Cloud will increase tomorrow morning and scattered outbreaks of rain or drizzle will extend across the country from the northwest throughout tomorrow. Highest temperatures of 7 to 12 degrees in a light to moderate west to northwest wind.
