Status yellow rain warnings are now in place for six counties
MET Éireann is warning of flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions in County Cork due to heavy rainfall.
Following Storm Kathleen over the weekend, the national forecaster has now issued a status yellow rain warning for the Rebel County - bringing to six the number of counties where weather warnings are in place.
The latest warning, which came into effect at 12pm this Monday, remains in place until 7pm.

The other rain warnings, for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow and Waterford, were issued over the weekend and remain in effect until midnight.
According to the latest Met Éireann forecast, most areas of the country will be dry on Tuesday with sunny spells and some isolated showers.
However, the indications are that it will remain unsettled for the remainder of the week and that more rain and cooler conditions can be expected from Wednesday onwards.
"Becoming cooler with further spells of rain and showers for the coming days," states the outlook.
