Mainly dry with occasional showers is the Monday forecast for Donegal

Met Éireann has forecast a mainly dry Monday for Donegal, with fresh winds expected.

Rain and drizzle will push northwards to most areas during the morning and early afternoon but it will stay largely dry in some western coastal counties with just a few showers. The rain will persist for much of the day across the east. Winds will be light and variable at first but will increase mostly moderate to fresh north to northwest through the day. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees.

Scattered showers overnight with a few clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 5 degrees in moderate to fresh northwest winds.

A few showers around on Tuesday, but generally a dry day with sunny spells. Breezy with a moderate to fresh northwesterly wind. Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees.
