Met Éireann have forecast that Storm Kathleen will continue to bring strong gales, with even the possibility of hail and thunder to Donegal today, Sunday.
Today will be windy with fresh to strong and gusty southwesterly winds, very strong in the west, where gales or strong gales will persist near coasts. There will be a mix of sunny spells and scattered blustery showers, some heavy with isolated hail and thunder possible. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees.
Winds will ease early tonight and showers will become isolated. Cloud will increase overnight. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 5 degrees with winds becoming light southerly or variable.
Outbreaks of rain will move up from the south tomorrow morning and will continue for most of the day, although it will become drier in the west. Winds will be light and variable at first but will become north to northwesterly and increase moderately later. Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees.
