Scattered showers and clear spells tonight, with showers turning heavy at times later and it will remain blustery in fresh to strong and gusty southwesterly winds, with gales on Donegal coasts

Donegal forecast to feel Storm Kathleen later on Saturday

Strong gales will hit the Donegal coast later today

Met Éireann have forecast that Storm Kathleen will make its way to Donegal later this morning.

A windy day as Storm Kathleen will bring very strong and gusty southerly winds, with coastal flooding and wave overtopping likely. Showers and sunny spells will spread from the southwest this morning and continue through the day. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees.

Tonight, scattered showers and clear spells, with showers turning heavy at times later. Remaining blustery in fresh to strong and gusty southwesterly winds, with gales on Donegal coasts. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees.

Windy on Sunday with strong and gusty southwest winds, along with gales on Donegal coasts. Scattered showers will continue through the day, some turning heavy. Quite cloudy, though some sunny spells will break through. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees.
