Luke Devlin, Oisin Fogarty, and Emmett Byrne played their part in Warwickshire triumph, with the latter securing the title for his side with a last-minute goal

Donegal trio that won the British University Championship

Three Donegal players were involved with Hope University Liverpool who captured the British University football Championship at the weekend in Warwickshire. 

Urris man Luke Devlin was stationed at centre-half back on the starting 15 as he anchored the defense, while his Donegal clubmate Oisin Fogarty was also a part of the panel. 

The third Donegal native who was on the panel was Ardara’s Emmett Byrne, whose impact off the bench proved vital as he nailed a second last-minute goal for Hope University which helped them to a five-point victory.
