Cockhill Celtic are the bookie's favourites for the FAI Junior Cup
Buncrana Hearts, Cockhill Celtic and Letterkenny Rovers now know their last 16 FAI Junior Cup opposition following Tuesday morning’s draw.
Gary Duffy’s side, who defeated Harding FC 3-1 at home in the same competition at the weekend, have been handed an away clash against either Peake Villa of Tipperary or 2015 and ‘16 back-to-back Intermediate Cup winners, Dublin’s Crumlin United.
The Leinster Senior League side disposed of Letterkenny Rovers 5-0 at the Aviva in that 2016 decider.
Cockhill Celtic, Intermediate runners-up last season, have a home tie against either Galway’s Maree/Oranmore FC or Grange Vale AFC of Cork.
Gavin Cullen’s charges netted a fine 5-0 home win over Limerick-based Askeaton-Kilcornan on Saturday.
Finally, Letterkenny Rovers are on the road to Tipperary, away to Clonmel Rovers. Stephen McConnell’s outfit took a big scalp away from home on Saturday with a 3-2 fifth-round win over Mervue United at Fahy’s Field.
