The protest is over changes to the Senior Cycle, which teachers believe will undermine standards and threaten fairness and quality for Leaving Cert students
Second-level teachers in Donegal will hold a lunchtime protest outside their schools next Tuesday, November 19.
The protest is over changes to the Senior Cycle, which teachers believe will undermine standards and threaten fairness and quality for Leaving Cert students.
The protest, which is taking place nationwide, is being organised by second-level teacher unions the ASTI and the TUI. Teachers are calling for a postponement of the implementation of the Senior Cycle redevelopment programme. Upwards of 30,000 second-level teachers all over the country will participate in the protest.
