Joe McGinley and other members of the Leinster backroom team celebrate Saturday's URC title win

Letterkenny Rugby Club’s Joe McGinley played a significant part in Leinster’s URC win over the Bulls at Croke Park on Saturday.

The former youth and senior player is now part of the Leinster backroom team, working as a Senior Athletic Performance Coach.

Leinster made history in Dublin at the weekend hammering the Vodacom Bulls 32-7 to claim their first URC crown.

A message on the Letterkenny Rugby Club’s facebook read: “Everyone at Letterkenny Rugby Club is incredibly proud of our former youth and senior men’s player, Joe McGinley, who played a key role as Senior Athletic Performance Coach in Leinster Rugby’s URC title win yesterday”.
