Ryan Hunter wins the Donegal Ultra 222
Donegal native Ryan Hunter was the winner of the Donegal Ultra 222 on Saturday, while Darren McGlinchey was the victor in the 333.
Hunter was the first man home in the shortest of the three cycles, but a gruelling 222km across the county was a tough feat for the young cyclist from Errigal CC.
Gerard Gallagher was just behind, breaking the eight-hour mark by 29 seconds, while Brian O'Donnell was third in a time of 8:22.25.

In the 555, Rory Devlin is leading the way with plenty of racing still to come.
