Letterkenny AC woman Erin Friel has been selected for the European Youth Olympic Festival, while Finn Valley's Dermot McGranaghan and Michael Black from Letterkenny will be travelling as coaches

Erin Friel selected for European Youth Olympic Festival

Erin Friel will be representing Ireland at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in North Macedonia later this month.

The Letterkenny AC sprinter is part of a 13-strong team of athletes selected by the Olympic Federation of Ireland that will make the journey to Skopje for the Festival taking place from July 20-27th.

The Loreto student will compete in both the 400m and the Women's Medley Relay.

Finn Valley coach Dermot McGranaghan has been selected as a coach, while Michael Black from Letterkenny is named as Team Manager for the cycling team, which consists of six competitors.
