Former Shamrock Rovers and Celtic player, Liam Burt, enjoyed a title winning League of Ireland season while on loan from Rovers at Shelbourne. Despite this he took to social media to make his feelings heard over the way he feels he was treated by his parent club.
He took to his Instagram writing a long paragraph about his treatment by the club noting that he was "Not once contacted checking up on how I was or how it was going."

The post goes on to read:
"Not once I was contact from yous about the loan to Shels and plan in place for me, not once was I contacted for good luck."
He then talks about after the season had finished the lack of communication he received from the club.
"And worst of all since the season finished I have not once been contacted once from yous about anything regarding a plan for me, leaving me in no mans land."
He leaves the message with one former dig at Rovers rounding out the statement by writing "I sincerely hope yous treat other people with a lot more respect going forward." and "Oh and unlucky." as he attached a photo of himself holding the League Of Ireland trophy as Shelbourne pipped Rovers to the league title by just 2 points.
