Rising Manorcunningham karting ace Jayden McElhinney picked up three top prizes at the Ulster Karting Club annual awards.
The nine-year-old was named as Best Newcomer and was also given the Best Cadet Drive Award. McElhinney also received an award for finishing third n the Ulster Karting Championship.
A third class pupil at Ray NS in Manor, he has been raising eyebrows in championship races held at the likes of Nutts Corner, Athboy, Whiteriver and Pallas Karting Centre.
A son of Kelvin and Clara McElhinney, Jayden, who races for the DMS team, won all of his races at Nutts Corner a couple of weeks ago.
The Donegal youngster has only been karting for just over a year.
The family are no strangers to racing. His father, who acts as his mechanic, is well known in motorsport circles.

Grandfather Uel McElhinney is another who needs little by way of an introduction in motorsport.
Jayden began racing in August, 2023, but is already making real inroads - and now has the trophies to prove it. The awards function took place at the Ballymac Hotel in County Antrim.
