Dylan Browne McMonagle landed a treble at Dundalk on Wednesday evening.

The Letterkenny man mounted a quick-fire treble with wins on Andalusian Star (8/13), Beautiful Dawn (1/3) and Neddies Boy (2/1).

The middle leg of the three, the seven furlong handicap, was shared with Jamie Powell after a dead heat finish.

Aboard the Joseph O’Brien-trained Beautiful Dawn, Browne-McMonagle and the 6/1 Rebelsontherun were deadlocked as they crossed the line.

"Although we were coming back in trip, I thought we went a good and even pace and it was playing into my hands well,” Browne McMonagle said.

“My horse stays very well and she's tough.

"She picked up nicely and I felt I put the race to bed but the boys were always breathing down my neck. We're sharing the spoils with Jamie but I'm delighted to get another win beside her name."

Andalusian Star won the Fillies Maiden over seven furlongs, comfortably seeing off Pepper Noir, the 11/4 chance with Robert Whearty in the saddle.

The treble was rounded off when taking Neddies Boy to a win for Ray Cody in the handicap, ran over one mile and four furlongs. There, Browne McMonagle won by a head from 14/1 shot Hinemoa, ridden by Alan Persse.
