John Crumlish will be the Clerk of the Course for the 2024 Donegal Harvest Stages Rally.
The event will be based in the Letterkenny area after the Orchard Inn was voted in as the host venue.
Donegal Motor Club members went to ballot on Thursday night at the Mount Errigal Hotel.
Crumlish, the Donegal Motor Club Secretary and a long-term motorsport official, staved off St Johnston’s Sam Pearson in the race for the COC position. Crumlish was elected by 102 votes to 57.
Club members voted by 91 to 72 for the Orchard Inn to be the 2024 Donegal Harvest Stages Rally headquarters. The Downings Bay Hotel was also in the running to host the event.
County Derry man Callum Devine won the 2023 Donegal Harvest Rally, which was headquartered in Teac Bhillie in Gort a'Choirce.
Keith Sheridan has been elected as Clerk of the Course for the 2024 Night Navigational Trial, which will take place in March.
