Ann-Marie McGlynn recorded her latest win in Dublin on Saturday afternoon.
The Letterkenny AC woman, the 2023 National Marathon champion, was the leading woman in the Jingle Bells 5k, hosted by Donore Harriers.
McGlynn scorched to victory in 15 minutes and 56 seconds in the Phoenix Park.
McGlynn led the way from Claire Fagan of Mullingar Harriers (15:58) and Leevale’s Lizzie Lee (16:18).
Rathfarnahm’s Mitchell Byrne took the overall win, crossing the line in 14:13.
Now in it’s 32nd year, the Jingle Bells 5k is noted as one of Ireland’s fastest 5k races.
In October, McGlynn won her first National Marathon title, winning in 2:34:13.
