In 2012, Jennings competed in the women’s marathon at the Olympic Games in London.

Last year, she was named Endurance Athlete of the Year by Athletics Ireland for her third place in finish at the 100km World Championships. There, she set a new world W40 record.

At the 2019 50km World Championships, Jennings finished in 5th place in 3:19:50
