Letterkenny AC’s club member Ciaran McGonagle competed in a gruelling 100km race in Armagh last weekend.
Ciaran proudly represented Ireland in the Anglo Celtic Plate.
Ciaran was the first member of Team Ireland to cross the finish line doing so in 7th place. Ciaran completed the 100km race in 6hrs 57 min and 32 secs. A remarkable achievement by a remarkable athlete.
Club member Kathryn McDevitt had a superb run in the World Masters in Poland last Friday the 31st March earning a bronze medal.
Kathryn won bronze as part of the Irish 4x200m relay team in Poland and furthermore had an excellent individual performance reaching the 200m semi finals.
The Atlantic Technical University 5km event was very well supported by LAC members. The proceeds of the event were donated to the North West Simon Community last Tuesday the 28th March 2023. Well done to all who participated in the run and those who volunteered their time to assist.
