Nakita Burke won Thursday night's Deep River Rock Queen's 5k in Belfast.

The Letterkenny AC woman finished in 16 minutes and 23 seconds to claim the win.

Burke had 24 seconds to spare on Hannah Gilliland from Annadale Striders to take the victory.

Burke was recently competing in the Trafford 10k in Manchester, where she ran 33:31.

At the European Champion Clubs Cup Cross Country Championships in Spain last month, Burke led the way in 24th to help LAC finish tenth in the team standings.
