ALERT: Adapters used for popular brand of laptops recalled due to risk of fire
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has issued a recall notice for Dynabook AC Power Adapters which are used for certain Toshiba-branded Notebooks.
The adapters have been recalled due to major safety concerns, with the CCPC saying they can "overheat and spark presenting a risk of fire and burns."
This product had previously been recalled in 2018 and now additional models have been identified as posing safety hazards.

Customers who may not have been affected in the June 2018 recall are being asked to re-check their AC adapter again in case they are now impacted.
If you do own one of the impacted AC adapters, which are listed on Dynabook's website, people are being advised to turn off the laptops and unplug the AC adapters immediately.
