Man in hospital with serious injuries after shooting in Dublin

A man is in hospital with serious injuries after a shooting in Dublin on Friday night.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses following the incident at a property in Rutland Avenue in Crumlin.

Emergency services responded to reports of shots being fired after 9.45pm on Friday.

A man aged in his late 30s was taken to St James’s Hospital with “serious” but not life-threatening injuries.

No other injuries have been reported and no arrests have been made.

An appeal has been issued for witnesses or anyone who may have footage of the area around the time of the incident.
