Search for two teenage girls missing from their homes stood down amid garda update

Two 14-year-old girls from Limerick who had been the subject of a missing person appeal have been located "safe and well", gardaí have confirmed.

Caoimhe Barry and Khloe Murphy, both 14 years old, were reported missing from their homes in Castleconnell, Limerick and Annacotty, Limerick, since Tuesday morning, January 7 2025.

Caoimhe was described as being approximately 5 foot 5 inches in height, of slim build with long brown hair and brown eyes, while Khloe was described as being approximately 5 foot 5 inches in height, of slim build with long brown hair and brown eyes.

"Gardaí would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance," a garda spokesperson said.
