A man is being treated in hospital following what's being described as a "serious assault" at an industrial estate on the outskirts of Dublin.
Gardai say they were alerted to an assault at an industrial estate in Ballymount at around 9pm on Wednesday.
"A man, aged in his 20s, received a stab wound during the course of an altercation with a second man. The injured man was taken to Tallaght University Hospital where he remains in a stable condition," said a garda spokesperson.

They added that a man, aged in his late teens, was arrested at the scene of the incident and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a garda station in Dublin.
"A weapon which is understood to have been used during the course of the incident was seized by Gardaí for a technical examination," they stated.
Investigations are ongoing.
