The body of a man has been discovered on the grounds of University Hospital Limerick.
Gardai said they were investigating “all the circumstances” following the discovery on Thursday.
The body had since been removed from the scene and a post-mortem examination was due to take place at a later date.
Gardai said the results of the examination would determine the course of their inquiries.
The coroner had been notified and investigations were ongoing.
