Gardaí on patrol on the M50 were met by an unaccompanied learner driving who "whizzed past at speed", when Gardaí pulled the driver over they also failed a roadside drug test.
The post from An Garda Síochána on X reads:
"Our Roads Policing Unit from Dublin Castle were on patrol of the M50 when this car whizzed past at speed.
The driver was stopped on the N7 and we realised that he was an unaccompanied learner.
He also tested positive for cocaine on a roadside drug test."
