Gardaí in Limerick are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to come forward.
A woman who sustained serious injuries in road crash nearly two weeks ago has died in hospital, gardai have confirmed.
The single-vehicle incident occurred on the R503 at Drominboy, Lisnagry, Limerick on Tuesday, July 30 at approximately 8.40pm.
A garda spokesperson confirmed at the time that the male driver and female passenger of the car (both aged in their 20’s) were conveyed to hospital for treatment for serious injuries.
In an update, issued this Tuesday morning, a spokesperson confirmed one of the occupants died in hospital over the weekend.
"The female passenger of the car was receiving treatment at Cork University Hospital. She passed away from her injuries on Sunday, August 11," they said.

Gardaí in Limerick are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to come forward.
"Road users with camera footage, including dash-cam, who were traveling on the R503 road near Lisnagry, County Limerick, on Tuesday July 30, between 7.45pm and 8.45pm, are asked to make this footage available to gardaí.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Henry Street garda station on 061 212 400, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any garda station," said a garda spokesperson.
