Following a drug seizure worth €692,000 on Sunday May 5th, a man and a woman who were arrested in as part of the investigation have been released by Gardaí without charge and file.
The man in his 30s who was also arrested as part of this investigation has been charged and is expected to appear at the Criminal Courts of Justice, Dublin, Court 1, at this morning's sitting.
The original Gardaí press release in relation to the incident reads as follows:
Gardaí have seized approximately €692,000 worth of controlled drugs and arrested three individuals during an operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Coolock area, this morning Sunday 5th May 2024.
The search of a residential premises was carried out by personnel from Coolock District Drugs Unit with assistance from the Dog Unit.
During the course of this search approximately €400,000 of suspected cannabis, €230,000 cocaine, €60,000 valium and €2,000 MDMA was recovered. Approximately €57,000 in cash was also recovered.
All drugs seized will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for further analysis.
