Search for teenage boy reported missing in Dublin stood down as he is located 'safe and well'

Tadgh Warburton has been located 'safe and well', gardai have confirmed

The search for a teenage boy who had been reported as missing from his home in Dublin has been stood down as he has been located 'safe and well'.

Gardaí had sought the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 15-year-old Tadgh Warburton, who lives at Smithfield, Dublin 7.

Prior to the appeal being issued this Monday afternoon, Tadgh was last seen in the early hours of Easter Sunday.

In a brief update, a garda spokesperson confirmed the teenager has since been found.

"Tadgh Warburton, 15 years who had been missing from Dublin 7, has been located safe and well," they said.
 
Gardai, who have thanked the public and media for their assistance, have not publicly disclosed any information as to how and where Tadgh was located.
