A man has died and two people have been injured in a car crash in Co Cork.
The single-vehicle crash happened in the townland of Rathanker, near Passage West.
Gardai attended the scene at approximately 2.30am on Sunday morning.
The driver of the car, a man aged in his 20s, was fatally injured during the crash.
Two occupants of the car suffered injuries, which were understood to be non-life-threatening, and were taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment.
The local road remained closed after lunchtime on Sunday with traffic diversions in operation.
Forensic collision investigators were tasked with examining the scene.
Gardai were appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.
