GARDAI have expressed concern for the wellbeing of an elderly man who has been reported missing from his home in Dublin.
An appeal for information has been issued in an effort to trace the whereabouts of 86 year-old William "Bill” Mahony who was last seen in Rathfarnham on Wednesday evening.
William is described as being approximately 5’10 in height, with an average build and grey hair. He was wearing a dark-coloured jacket and a red New York baseball cap when last seen.
Gardaí say both they and William’s family are concerned for his wellbeing.
Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Rathfarnham garda station on 01 666 6500, the garda confidential line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
