'First of its kind’ AI-powered store to open at Dublin Airport

A NEW ‘AI-powered’ store is set to open at Dublin Airport.

The store will see customers self check-out in T1 Arrivals.

Announcing the news on social media, Dublin Airport said: “Check-out (pun intended) the new AI-powered Dublin Town To Go store in T1 Arrivals at Dublin Airport!”

“Simply scan your payment card to get in the shop & a combination of cameras & weight sensored shelving then detects what you're buying & charges your card when you walk out,” they added.

The “first of its kind to open in Ireland”, the store will sell everything that customers need before flying.
