Motorist arrested following discovery of drugs hidden in water bottles
A MOTORIST is facing multiple charges after gardai seized drugs and cash while performing a routine traffic stop in Dublin.
Cannabis worth around €4,500 and a significant quantity of cash were seized after a vehicle was stopped by officers attached to Operation Citizen.
According to gardai, some of the drugs were concealed inside a number of reusable water bottles which were found inside the car.
The cash contraband were subsequently seized and the male was arrested.
He has since been charged with numerous offences and is due before the courts.
