A DRIVER involved in a single car collision has been arrested after testing positive for cocaine.
Gardaí in Carrickmacross responded to a single car road traffic collision on Sunday morning.
The driver, who was uninjured, gave an oral fluid sample at the scene which tested positive for cocaine. They were then arrested and taken to Carrickmacross Garda station.

In a statement An Garda Síochána confirmed that a blood test was carried out at the station in Carrickmacross, "the result of which will determine any legal proceedings".
"For the safety of you and all other road users, never, ever drive while under the influence drugs," they said.
