A popular table lamp sold on the Amazon platform has been recalled due to a risk of electric shock.
According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), hundreds of people in Ireland are affected by the recall of the Aomeya Table Lamp (B09TSRGR2Z, model number CT4B, barcode X001J2K8D5).
The basic insulation surrounding the live wire in the product is insufficient and, therefore, does not meet the requirements of the relevant regulations.
Approximately 372 affected products have been sold in the Republic of Ireland.
If you purchased this product please discontinue use immediately and keep it out of the reach of children.
You may wish to contact Amazon to see if there are any remedies available to you.
