Two further juvenile teenagers have been arrested in connection with the assault of a teenage boy in Navan.
The incident - which occurred on Monday May 15 - caused outrage nationwide after video footage appeared online depicting violence towards a male juvenile.
The two teenagers were arrested for alleged offences under Section 3 of the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act, 1999 and are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Garda Stations in the Meath Region.
Three male juvenile teenagers who were arrested this morning (May 19) have been released without charge, and a file will be referred in the first instance for consideration for admission to the Juvenile Diversion Programme in accordance with Part 4 of the Children Act, 2001.
Gardaí continue to investigate the incident and have asked people not to share footage on social media.
